NWAEBIEM NWADINOBI (Managing Director/CEO, Superintendent Pharmacist)
Pharm. Nwaebiem Nwadinobi is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Superintendent Pharmacist of HSCL. He is an astute Entrepreneur who founded Horizon Supply Chain Limited with a focus on advanced Pharmaceutical products and services/ procurement and delivery. A thought leader, he is both highly dynamic and innovative. It is his foresight and vision which is instrumental in shaping the spiraling growth of HSCL. His unwavering faith in translating high ethical standards into real world practices is expected to help HSCL achieve unprecedented success in all its business operations.
Nwadinobi started his post-NYSC career in Pharmacy with Clenton Pharmceuticals Nig. Ltd. As a procurement and regulatory affairs officer, he gathered experience on the procurement and clearing/ handling of all Pharmaceutical and Non-Pharmaceutical products. He also sourced and established links with 10 foreign pharmaceutical companies, whose products were afterwards registered aside conducting regular market surveys to unravel new and viable products to be registered. From Clenton Pharmaceuticals, Nwandinobi joined Chan Medi-Pharm Gte.
At Chan Medi-Pharm, he worked as a procurement and regulatory affairs manager, during this period he restructured the procurement and regulatory department making it more effective and innovative. He led the team that identified and started the registration of Chan Medi-Pharm’s first set of pharmaceutical products with National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). He was also in charge of handling/ clearing of the organization’s imported Pharmaceuticals and other Healthcare products. In conjunction with a team of WHO Quality Assurance experts he conducted a comprehensive GMP AUDIT of Nigeria’s top 10 Pharmaceutical Companies.
On leaving Chan Medi-Pharm, he teamed up with some professionals and started HSCL and also became a major consultant in a Dutch Not-for-Profit organization, IDA Foundation (The world leading not–for-profit supplier of affordable healthcare). He led a NAFDAC team that comprised of the Director General and few other directors to Europe for an on the spot facility inspection which opened way to a wonderful business relationship between IDA and NAFDAC. Today IDA Foundation has a huge presence in Nigeria majorly due to his innovative prowess; this is in addition to having well over 50 registered Pharmaceutical products under the IDA brand.
He has been involved in various GLOBAL FUND PROJECT, ranging from the coordination of the clearing and distribution of all ARVS procured by National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) in the GLOBAL FUND HIV ROUND 5 GRANT, and coordination of the clearing and distribution of all HIV/AIDS TEST KITS procured by SOCIETY FOR FAMILY HEALTH (SFH) in the GLOBAL FUND HIV ROUND 5 GRANT.
He also liaises with all the regulatory bodies on behalf of various organizations. The regulatory bodies include National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Nigeria Customs Service, Standard Organization of Nigeria/ Standard Organization of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Program (SON/ SONCAP). He is also a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nig. (PSN), Pharmaceutical Council of Nig. (PCN) and National Association of Industrial Pharmacists (NAIP)
Nwadinobi holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the prestigious University of Lagos and he is a technical consultant to various organizations of high repute. He has also participated in various business management trainings organized by GRADE (A) Consulting Firms e.g. ‘CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE’ BY EAGLE 8 CONSULTING AND ‘PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL’ BY MACTAY. He is married with a son.
OLUDEJI OWOYELE (Project Consultant)
Oludeji is a business development and management strategist with expertise in the area of financial modeling and analysis. He has worked as a principal consultant with NEXTZON Business Services Limited, and championed the development of a good number of projects. He disengaged from Nextzon to go into private practice in July, 2008 to commercialize his activities/skills. His experience and current work covers various industries as well as numerous macro-level assessments and strategic planning consulting assistance on projects.
Before joining Nextzon in 2006, Oludeji had gained valuable experience in the Financial Services, Payments, Telecommunications, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, and Entertainment industries while he worked with BMC Consultants Ltd. While there, he was part of numerous projects including developing corporate and business unit strategies for large, medium sized and small companies/banks and the post implementation performance and brand equity review of a regional Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) telecommunications company. During his employment with BMC and Nextzon, Oludeji was exposed to several of the firms’ training sessions on strategy development, business organisations and imperative soft skills, customer relationship management, and payment systems. He also facilitated one of the courses within Nextzon.
Oludeji has a BTech. degree in Architecture from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria. Aside his corporate services management duties in HSCL, he also facilitates classes on ‘entrepreneurship and business plan development’ at the School of Media Communications (SMC), Pan-African University popularly called Lagos Business School.
OLUSEGUN OLUKAYODE ARIBABA (Company Secretary)
Olusegun is the Company Secretary of HSCL. He is also a practice partner in ‘Law Shield’, Pinheiro & Oguntade and the Chambers of B.A.M. Fashanu (SAN). His practice area includes company and commercial laws, legal documentation, civil litigation, labour and employment law, intellectual and industrial property law, environmental law, law relating to foreign investments and exchange control, law of taxation, arbitration, probate and administration of estate law.
A graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), Olusegun was called to the bar in July 2001. He completed his postgraduate degree programme (LL.M) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, in 2003. He also has quite a number of publications in Medical law and International Economic LAW.
FRANCIS ENENEBEAKU (Director)
Francis is a medical doctor with well over 16 years experience. His work catalogue includes providing medi-care and support for adult persons living with HIV/AIDS, including pregnant women, participating in residency training programmes, providing out-patient care (investigations, monitoring and treatment) in the Haematology out-patient clinic to patients with haematological conditions, and providing out-patient care for people living with HIV/AIDS in LUTH HIV/AIDS clinic amongst others.
